From New Orleans to the Nation
Crescent Canna launched in New Orleans in 2019 as a small CBD products manufacturer before expanding into hemp-derived THC edibles and beverages. In February 2023, we released Crescent 9 THC Seltzer just in time for Mardi Gras. The cultural fit with our community could not have been better. Crescent 9 created the THC beverage category in Louisiana, and we’ve been the best-selling THC beverage in the state ever since.
Today we work with 40+ distributors and 48 retail chains across 20 states, and we’re adding more every week.
Industry Leadership and Advocacy
Our team has been involved in cannabis industry advocacy for more than a decade. We led efforts to defeat a hemp ban in Louisiana, helped establish smart regulatory frameworks for the state’s hemp market, and co-founded the Louisiana Hemp Beverage Coalition to advance federal and state policy priorities for the hemp beverage industry.
Today, we’re engaged at the federal level as the industry confronts proposed legislation that would ban hemp-derived THC beverages nationwide. We believe in smart regulation – not prohibition. We’re fighting alongside industry partners to keep THC products legal and accessible for all of us.
